Hello Halloween fanatics! It’s Day 16 of the Smeared & Smudged 31 Days of Halloween. Today, I have a super simple card…albeit a kinda creepy. At least…I think so. I hope you agree.
I started off by stamping my “Halloween” image (one of my all-time faves!). It’s from Basic Grey. I stamped it on to vellum with Memento Ink. Word of warning…it dries sloooooowly on vellum. So I used my embossing gun just a bit to help it along. Then, I stamped my pretty lantern (from Inkadinkado) in the same fashion.
For the spooky glow, I simply cut a piece of orange cardstock and placed it underneath the vellum. So it gave the look that it was actually under old glass. Sometimes simplicity can be pretty creepy, and that’s really what I was going for here. Please be sure to visit the rest of the Wicked Bloggers, all listed in my side bar. Thanks for stopping by, have a creep-tastic day!
