It’s Friday! And it’s October. So, that means I have 2 projects to share with you…both from Dilly Beans (can you tell I LOVE being on this Design Team?!). The first is for this week’s challenge, which is “Pink and Purple.”
I used Lulu Framed for this card. She was a blast to color! I love her curly hair…and all of those stripes.
I used watercolor markers and a couple of Copics for Lulu. This is another one of Dilly Bean’s “Big Eye Girls that I love so much.
I used a Crafter’s Workshop with ink for the pink polka dots and the swirly background. I hope you will play along with our challenge this week! Visit the Dilly Beans Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT has done.
Now…on to the 31 Days of Halloween with Smeared & Smudged! If you are new to the 31 Days, we are also able to make projects for the Day of the Dead. Which is what I’ve chosen to share with you today. Again, this is another Dilly Beans image. She’s called “Day of the Dead Frida.”
If you frequent my blog, you will know that one of my new favorite things to make are decorated travertine tiles. They are a blast to do, and it’s inexpensive. I just loved making this, and I plan on making a set of 4 different tiles. You’ll see the other tiles later in the month.
You can see some of the lovely natural pitting of the tile underneath the image, and I love that. This coaster is water resistant, so it’s really a functioning piece of art.
Do I really need to tell you how much fun I had coloring her? Nah, I didn’t think so. If you don’t have any Dilly Beans images, I highly recommend you get some, because they are all amazing! Now, it’s time for you to keep hopping! The entire Wicked Blogger list is on my side bar. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creep-tastic day!
Wooow, stunning pieces of fab colors, make me happy looking at them :))))
Have a wonderful weekend, sweetie 🙂
Hugs Lilli xx
