It’s time for another Halloween challenge, Simply B style! It’s never the wrong time for Halloween, so I am excited to share a new challenge with you. By the way, if you are looking for today’s Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop, please click HERE. Today’s SBS challenge is to use fabric and stitching. Truth be told. I didn’t stitch… but I did use some pretty cool Halloween fabric!
I should have taken a pic of a large piece of the fabric…so you could see where I got my inspiration. But it’s all 50’s style drawings, in black, cream, grays and orange. It’s very hip. So, I decided to color in Witchy Wednesday in the same fashion.
I hope you can see all of the shading. It was hard for me to get a good photo, because my grays are so light.I used all Copics for Wednesday, except for the black. That’s a watercolor marker. The “Boo” is paper, by the way. From a Martha Stewart paper pad.
This was a fun challenge. To give you a little more inspiration, here is a card I made last year, using Beatrix the Witch.
See the pretty, meshy fabric? I love this card. But now it’s time for you to go and visit the SBS Blog to see what some of the other gals have created for this challenge. I hope you will play along with us! Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
