It’s Day 13 of the 31 Days of Halloween! It’s almost halfway over! Already??? So I have a new Halloween project to share, of course, but in addition, I have 2 more previews for the new Simply Betty Stamps Teen Scene Christmas release. I am super duper stoked about the Halloween project. I have wanted to start doing this literally, during the last 31 Days of Halloween. And I never found time! Well, now I am hooked, and you may just be seeing a ton more of these. So, I hope you like what I’ve done… I give you…My Heart. What do you think??? I used the heat from Smeared Ink’s Quoth the Raven, and stamped it in clay (the color is called Translucent…which it is. The light goes thought it beautifully!). I baked it, and then colored it with alcohol inks. The color is more saturated than it looks here, the other 2 photos are much more true to life, but I wanted you to see that all of the detail in the stamp shows. Of course, having a plain old heart would never do for me…so I broke out my beading supplies and started to play! I even dug up an “A” and a “G” for my husband and…colored them with alcohol ink too (because the white they were wild have been awful here!) . Ooh, this was fun! Thinking I may need to make some for my Etsy shop. Personalized hearts! This is my type of heart… On to the Simply Betty Stamps preview! Here’s Miller as Scrooge. I chose to go pretty traditional with the colors (surprise!). My paper is all from DCWV. I colored Miller in with my watercolor markers. He’s very handsome, even though he looks a bit sad. My sentiment is from Inkadinkado, and I embossed it with Seafoam White powder from Ranger. Who doesn’t love snowmen? I think this is a sweet image! Rio has done such a great job with her wintry friend, right? And look, Edgar has come to say hello! My sentiment here is from StampInsanity. I thought it worked perfectly with this image. I added some pops of pink, just for that little bit of unexpected that I always go for. The rest of the SBS gals (and GDT Kelli!) have come up with some great projects. Please visit the SBS Blog to see them all!
