I have 2 projects for you today! One is for the latest challenge from The Beyond Burtonesque Dolls. Are you following us yet? The second is for Smeared & Smudged’s 31 Days of Halloween. Let’s start with the BBD. For this challenge I’ve picked one awesomely talented man to focus on Terry Gilliam. You may think you don’t know who he is, but trust me…you probably do! He has worked on so many amazing projects…such as my inspiration…Monty Python and the Holy Grail. How many of you have seen this movie? How many of you can recite basically the whole thing? It is one of the most hilarious and ridiculous movies ever, and I just love it! I must confess, I was so overwhelmed by all of the insanity of the movie, I wasn’t sure what to make my card of. The killer rabbit? The Knights Who Say Ni? Too much material! So Kelli suggested I use Man’s Ruin from Bombshell Stamps and make her and her martini glass into the Holy Grail. Brilliant, I say! And, so I did. I colored her with markers, and then painted the glass with metallic gold acrylic paint. It’s super shiny! You’ll see in the next pic. I made some ridiculous clouds with embossing powder, and used the Man’s Ruin banner (I only inked the banner) and wrote in “Holy Grail.” See the shiny? Me like shiny! 😉 So be sure to go on over to The Beyond Burtonesque Dolls blog and find out just how well you actually do know Terry Gilliam! Now I’d like for you to meet Broom Hilda, from Simply Betty Stamps. She was released some time ago, along with the rest of the Merkids, but I never got a chance to use her. I made this card by using this month’s sketch from Smeared and Smudged. It was a great sketch! A witchy mermaid! Now…is she flying or swimming??? I used Stickles on her tail. It looks really pretty in real life. And take a gander at that beautiful houndstooth cardstock from DCWV. More glitter! And see that purple ink? It’s one of the Ltd. Edition Distress Inks. My girl Kelli to the rescue again! She bought the set for me as a surprise! 🙂 Love ya, Babe! So there you have it. Two more projects, with So much more to come this month! I hope I have inspired you at least a little bit so far. To check out the rest of the Wicked Bloggers, take a look at my side bar. They’re all listed there. Thanks for stopping by. Have a spook-tacular day!

BRING ME A SHRUBBERY!
MP and the HG, is a staple in this house, in fact it was a "fun rule" with the kids' friends, that if they couldn't recite one line from the movie they weren't allowed in!
'Tis But a Scratch! (since it is hallowen, I am surprised you didn't go for the cut up black knight)
anyway…
BOTH of these cards are waaay cool. BUT MAN, you freakin' nailed coloring that witch's hair on the second card!
You truly have mastered coloring with highlights and shadows!
I bow down to thee 🙂
