It’s the last Wednesday of the month of September (YIPPIE!!!), so that means it’s time for the Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop. Here’s the topic I chose for this month.
Ooh, I have really been looking forward to seeing what everyone makes for this hop! But first, let’s take a look at mine, shall we?
I’m pretty stoked about this project! I’m probably going to hear a collective gasp from everyone reading this…but I need a break from cards! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE making them…but I adore doing other things! Altering stuff. Using weird supplies (ie masking tape!). Truth be told, I’m faster at making cards than other things (cause I get so damn anal about everything)…but I actually had some time to do what I really wanted. And it was fabulous! My mom had the kidlings, and Gene and I enjoyed some peaceful time together while the sun shone brightly in the living room where I created this little bottle. It was a glorious time!
After that, I stamped some assorted screw heads all over the tape using Staz-On and Smeared Ink stamps (Urban Decay collection). Then I grabbed some twill tape, and stamped “nuts bolts” on it and adhered that to the bottle.
Added some twine, tied on some screws, and proceeded to fill my little bottle. And I think it’s rad! This will look perfect with my Halloween decorations, as I use a ton of white. Then, I can keep it out after Halloween since it serves a function. And truth be told, I keep a lot of decorations out all year long! 🙂
Now it’s time for you to visit the rest of the folks on the hop! Here is the complete list.

Great project. Love that you were able to recycle the bottle into something so wonderful.
I get being tired of cards. When I feel that way I turn to my art journal.
