Welcome to the 5th installment of the Desert Islands Crafters Challenge! This time around we are using one of our Design Team member’s itinerary: Berenice! The rules are pretty simple. Use at least 3 of the items listed on the itinerary. But, the more the merrier of course! Link up your project on the DICC blog, and you have a chance at creating your own itinerary for us! Berenice’s Desert Island Itinerary 1. Ribbon 2. Glitter 3. Birthday theme 4. Bow 5. Dots 6. Pearls 7. Child image 8. Balloons image 9. Bright colors 10. Easel card technique For my card, I used #2, 3, 5, 8, and 9. How sweet is that elephant?! I just had to have this stamp. Found it at Michaels in their bargain bins for $1.50! I thought it was a fabulous image. Now, it’s hard to see the glitter…but trust me, it’s there. It’s on the dots, and the snowflakey design. My papers are from DCWV, the Celebration Stack. I colored in the elephant using my watercolor markers. The balloons were done with Sakura Glaze Pens. They are super shiny in real life! My Happy Birthday stamp was inked up with my watercolor markers. What do you think? Cute and simple, but super happy! Now it’s your turn! But before you start creating, please stop by the rest of the DICC gals! Have an inspiring day! However, my daughter and I both got sick (2 different kinds of sick!), so I wasn’t able to complete my project. My apologies…I will have something posted as soon as I can. 🙂

I saw the same stamp as was tempted, but; after seeing your card, I am going to go get it. Uber cute.
