Greetings on this lovely Friday! I still cannot believe that is the last month of the year! Today I bring you my second card for the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Christmas. And not only is is Smeared Ink Day (where we are challenged to use only Smeared Ink Stamps on your projects), but Friday is also my day to show off some of the sick and twisted goodness that is Smeared Ink. So, on to the goods… Ok, I didn’t use only Smeared Ink stamps…but I used two! The adorable Grumpie and sentiment is from the Lil Grumpies set, and the snowglobe is from Inkadinkado. I have had it forever, and I love putting all sorts of things in it. You may just see it again this month! I stamped the snowglobe first, then tried to get the Grumpie to sit on the base of the globe. It’s not easy! But, I think he’s fine where he is. I then embossed the globe with glitter powder for the globe itself, and gold for the base. Then I colored the Grumpie in with colored pencils. Phoenix told me to make him blue…so blue it is! I used my Martha Stewart cracked edge border and corner punches for the side and I embossed more glitter powder on to the blue cardstock. Here you can see the glitter better, as well as the pretty sheen on the metallic gold cardstock that I used. Oh! And I inked the edge of my card with grey ink, which really added a lot to the final look of the card. Please be sure to visit the rest of the Jolly Bloggers, posted on my sidebar. I am so looking forward to what everyone has been cooking up! Especially Alex, who has teased us that her project for today is gonna be rad! I’m off to go and see!!! Have an inspiring day!!!

Love him and the sentiment is so perfect. I've always loved snow globes —never thought of the inhabitants keeping an eye on me. TFS, Paula
