Look closely at my supplies for my latest card…do you see a Copic??? Yes! You do! That is the only Copic I own (sniff!). And I needed to use it for this week’s StampInsanity Challenge! This week, Beth challenges all of us to: “Uncoil your ribbons and shine up those sparklies! What awesome new ways can you come up with to use these embellies?” Sweet! So that pretty ribbon up there? Leftover from my Wedding. Purdy ain’t it??? See the harlequin pattern in it? And the rhinestones??? Well, I just didn’t want to use silver for this challenge…I wanted orange. and I read somewhere that you could color rhinestones with your Copics! So, I busted out the one, lonely Copic that I own and colored my 2 little rhinestones that I used orange. But I’m guessing you wanna see the whole card right??? I got the idea for this card from Jennifer… one of my fellow Groovy Gurlz! Just wait ‘till you see her card! Anyway, I was trying to figure out which image I wanted to color this week…then I saw her card…and I knew I wanted to make one of Beth’s fabulous sentiments the center of attention this week! So, I used my favorite one. Isn’t it lovely? Not only the words, but the fonts too? And, since it’s a digi, I can make it any size I wanted! I blew this one up to 4 inches, then sprayed the heck out of it with Glimmer Mist (Jack O’ Lantern & Walnut Gold). Here you can really see that beautiful Glimmer! It looks fab with my ribbon, no? I also gave this card a lot of layers, and dimension. You can see the pop dots I used in this photo…plus my pretty, hand colored rhinestones!!! And yes, that is a Halloween bowl on my table…I just can’t bear to be completely devoid of Halloween in my house! ;} So there you have it! Ribbon and rhinestones! Fabulous! Now it’s your turn! But please be sure to check out the rest of the Groovy Gurlz amazing creations too!!! Jacquie Lisa Juanita Jennifer Margie Suzi Erica Guest Groovy Gurls: Shelley Margreet Have an inspiring day!!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! I love this card. The sentiment as the focal point is great and I love the treatment of the edges. The ribbon matches perfectly. The copic with the rhinestones is great!

I love that sentiment too. (I almost used it.) I'm honored to be your inspiration. I love what you did. I see you went to the dark side. You used a copic. I did too.
