Hello! I am sharing my latest Smeared Ink card with you today. I spent a lot of today cleaning my craft room (not quite done, but it’s gettin’ there!), and I wasn’t really in the mood to color when I finally sat down to create. I decided instead to give the images a sepia kind of wash, and age the heck out of it. Got my fingers all nice and inky! I used my Distress Inks, of course, in Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, and Black Soot. I used cosmetic sponges to apply the colors. I really like the way the distressing turned out! I used Walnut Gold and Black Gold Glimmer Mist on my background. And yeah, I’m totally obsessed with the “site” stamp so I am using it on everything! And I topped it off with my favorite border punch by Martha Stewart. Please click on any of the photos to see them bigger! I hope you can see the glimmer here. It looks fab in person, but it is so hard to photograph! Have you seen all of the crazy stamp sets over at Smeared Ink yet? Terra just released 2 brand new sets! You’ve got to go and check them out! You’ve never seen anything like them! I promise you! Have an inspiring day!

This is really cool Alison! I need you to teach me how to use Glimmer Mist. I have some of it but I'm just never sure how to use it.
