It’s Tuesday again! Which could only mean one thing… it’s time for another Twilight Tuesday challenge!!! This week’s challenge comes from Erica:Throughout the series Bella discusses a lot of homes. She spends a lot of time at home, maybe not her home, but if the saying is true, it is home to her. This challenge is pretty simple. Make a craft based on either a home discussed in the series or what means home to you. Here are some of the houses discussed in the book…
Charlie’s house: unchanged since Renee moved out. I always remember her discussing the yellow cabinets in the kitchen. Kind of small, a sort of bachelor pad with a bit of an outdated woman’s touch.
Renee’s homes
The Cullen’s house: Giant windows, open, white, three stories, a mix of modern and classic
The house on Isle Esme
Edward and Bella’s cottage: my personal favorite, small, a mix of styles, stone floors, small garden, fireplace, think Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
and of course you can’t forget
Emily Young’s house with the flower boxes and something always cooking
Billy Black’s small but welcoming home.
Comment portion: If you could build your dream home, what would it be like?So of course, I had to go all symbolic again (you should expect it from me by now!), and not actually use a house. Well, I’ll just let you look at the layout before I keep writing… As usual, please click on the photo for a better view. My title is: “Home is wherever we are- as long as we’re together.”I really believe this. Gene and I are trying to figure out where to spend the rest of our lives, ‘cause it won’t be Long Island! That said, we really don’t know where we’re going to go… but no matter what, as long as we have each other… home will always be with us. The photo is from Rhiannon’s Baby Blessing. It was taken at my favorite part… when the cord encircles us in our “Family Hug.” So in this layout, I got a little help from my friends! The stamps for the 1st & last words of the Title was blog candy from Julie, and the striped paper and floral paper was an RAK from Jen. The other paper is from Prism, Provo Craft and Bazzill. Flowers from Prima, marker from EK, brad from We R Memory Keepers. As for my dream home? I would say a Tudor. Many of you know how much I love the Renaissance Period! I also love contemporary/industrial… but Gene is not a fan. So we’ll go with the Tudor. Actually, it has been a topic of discussion between us for years. We have even gathered ideas and product samples to help us when we finally get to the “build” part of our dream! Now, before you start making your TTIC project, check out the other designer’s work!Dani ~Donna ~ Erica ~ Eve ~ Jacquie ~ Jen (is out sick this week) ~ Julie ~ Margie ~ RebeccaSpread the Twilight love…

Perfection! I love the title and the photo is too cute. I love Rhi's expression when looking/playing with the cord. To me the paper or ribbon is crossed so it looks like a present with the flower as a bowl and I know how you think of your family as a gift, so I just think it is darling! WOW!

This is just beautiful, Allison! I am so tapped for adjectives anymore!! Just – beautiful. Your sentiment is perfect, and that it is hand-written makes it so much more genuine. Just awesome. PS – That is my favorite picture you posted – I love that Family Hug!
