I am SOOOO excited about this week’s challenge! Why? Because it’s MY challenge! As I Guest Designer for Twilight Tuesday (gosh- that never gets old!), I got the opportunity to create a challenge during my term. Well folks, here it is! This one’s a thinker kids! It’s no secret that Breaking Dawn is my favorite book in the series. So, now that it’s my turn to create a challenge (which I am SO excited about!), of course I would pull something from that book!Spoiler Alert! If you haven’t read Breaking Dawn, then stop reading this post and pick up that book! Then, you can come back and read the post, and complete the challenge! One of the things I love the most about Breaking Dawn are Jacob’s chapter titles. They’re hilarious! My favorite is: “What do I look like? The Wizard of Oz? You Need a Brain? You Need a Heart? Go Ahead. Take Mine. Take Everything I Have.” Chapter 17, page 329This chapter title perfectly depicts what Jacob is going through but in a sarcastic, tough, Jacob kinda way. So, here’s the scoop. We’ve all been on the giving and receiving end of many things, and I’m not talking about presents. We have given our “all” (or someone has given us their “all” for us) just because we love them so much. Jacob loves Bella with everything he has and would give it all to her because of it. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for her; that’s definitely made clear in this chapter!Comment portion: Who have you given your all to? Your kids? Your best friend? Who’s given their all to you? Your parents? A doctor? Tell us about that special relationship where someone has gone as far as they could with the gift of themselves.Project portion: Show us who has given you their everything or who you’ve given your everything to. Make a layout showing it, or a card to give that person, or even a gift just to say “thanks” or “I love you with all that I have.”Try to play along with us! For all the details, visit Twilight Tuesday! And as always, our Design Team has fantastic projects to display for this week’s challenge – please go and check them out! Dani ~ Eve ~ Jen ~ Julie ~ Margie ~ Rebecca ~ Tonyawith Guest Designers: Donna ~ JacquieAnd here is my project: My Everything is my Mom. She’s amazing. I used Paintables Paper from Prima and colored them in with my EK Watercolor markers. Here’s what I wrote:“I know of no one else who would do so much, try so hard, work so feverishly to make sure her family is taken care of and happy. Her sacrifices go beyond anything I could ever repay. Her heart is bottomless. She worships us- her daughters, her grandchildren. She would give us the world, and she has. No one has or ever could do more for us. She is my Mom and she is My Everything.”My Mom has been through so much. Ever since my Dad passed away 8 long years ago, her would (and ours) has been pretty upside down. Times have been tough on all fronts. Of course, we have our joys, my wedding, my babies, our store, etc. But she is the person who has tried to hold her chin up as high as she could and put on a happy face for us all. She is determined to laugh, to succeed, to live, even if it’s just vicariously through the kids. She has given us so much, and I know that she always will… ‘cause she’s our Mom. Our Grandmama. She will always be there for us, and do everything (and I mean everything!) for me, my sisters, and my kids. She is the Peacekeeper, the Laughter, the Pirate Queen, the best Mom I could ever hope for. I love her to pieces, and just hope that she knows it.

What a wonderful thing to write and create about your mother. She really is an amazing person – you all are, and something awesome happens when you are all together, as well. I love watching you and your sisters and your mother together. It's magic.
This post was beautiful. I read it earlier today but couldn't comment from my phone. A great Twilight Tuesday idea, as well. What a nice journey to take people down in their own lives!!
