Hello! I have a Christmas card to share today that uses the Christmas Horse-Drawn Wagon from the Country Christmas Collection from Spellbinders. There are a lot of pieces to this die set, but it’s not very hard to put together, and I didn’t find that I needed/wanted to do any ink blending on the individual parts, though you certainly can.

It’s really just a matter of die cutting and assembling for this focal point of this card. Having a tool or two like tweezers or a jewel picker can be really helpful when you’re working with the smallest parts. I used an assortment of cardstock from my stash to cut everything out.

I created a ground with Kraft cardstock and splattered it with Dr. Ph. Martins’ Bleed Proof White Ink. Then I used a sentiment and a gold star from this year’s Merry Moments Card Making Kit. I inked the edges of my card base, but truthfully, I don’t recall what color I used for it.

While this isn’t a card I would mass produce, I would definitely make a few to send to some special people. It’s really such a pretty die set. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
