Hello! I have a bold, textural card to share today using a bunch of products from Spellbinders. The Beautifully Imperfect Collection is great for getting funky, mixed media looks without a lot of effort, and I’ve been really enjoying it. The Crackle Paint 3D Embossing Folder is probably my favorite item from the collection, and I’ve used it a number of times already.

On a piece of Smooth Bristol Cardstock, I smeared on several inks from Catherine Pooler, directly from the pad. I used Aquatini, Lime Rickey, Party Dress, Limoncello, and Grape Crush. Then I ran it through my die cut machine with the Crackle Paint Embossing Folder. After that, I rubbed Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink on top, to blacken the raised areas.

Next, I die cut a few of the elements from the Tangled Threads Die Set using some colored cardstock that coordinated with the ink colors I used. I also added a wax seal, made with the Patterned Perfection Seal and the Must-Have Teal Wax Bead Mix. I wanted the pattern to stand out a bit more, so I rubbed on the Silver Bullion Wax Seal Powder to make it really shine. I made my sentiment with one of the options from the Grungy Background Press Plate Set. Then I inked my card base with Limoncello and Lime Rickey Ink.

It’s a mess, but a beautiful one. I love all the texture and interesting elements. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
