Hello! There’s a new Spellbinders collection from Bibi Cameron called Bibi’s Musical Notes. This collection is great for any music lover, and I’ll be sharing a few projects using some of the products in the upcoming weeks. Today’s card uses the Mini Guitar Etched Die Set, as well as some elements from the previously released Autumn Archives Collection.

I started by die cutting and assembling my guitar, using a few shades of brown. I also used a white gel pen to scratch on some strings, but there are etched lines there, so this is an optional step. I really like the Printed Papers from the Autumn Archives collection, so I chose a plaid to go with my guitar. In addition, I chose a floral Cardstock Die Cut from the collection to go next to the guitar. The Mini Guitar Die Set comes with floral dies, but I opted to use this quick, premade option instead.

For some shine, I added some Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs, plus some splatter using my Starry Colors watercolors from Kuretake. I edged my ivory card base just a bit with Pink Champagne Ink from Catherine Pooler. I also added a simple “You rock” sentiment from the Family Musical Mix Greetings in Pinecone VersaFine Clair Ink.

This card can work for guitar players or music lovers in general. It gives me a real 70’s vibe. It makes me think of Janis Joplin for some reason. Does it remind you of anyone? Please visit Spellbinders to see the rest of the new releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
