Greetings! You may have seen some of my recent cards that featured the new Timeless collection from Spellbinders. It’s a very pretty collection with intricate flourish dies that have a very romantic feel. This card is super over-the-top romantic, which is really not my typical style at all, but I think it came out very pretty, even though it doesn’t look like me.

I started with the Timeless 5×7 Cardfront. This die set has a lot of dies in it, and they can easily be used separately or together. I used the oval (a classic die that I’ll use often!) with the oval-shaped filigree die. The oval was cut out from a panel I made with Coral Alcohol Ink and the Gilded Alloy. The filigree oval was cut out of a glossy red patterned cardstock from DCWV. I also used it for the rectangle that I mounted behind them.

To cut that red rectangle as well as the gold one, I used the Hemstitch Rectangle die set, also from Spellbinders. The gold was also used on my sentiment, which is from the Thanks Enclosed sentiment die set. I inked my card base with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide. I love how you can see the color peeking though the little hemstitches.

So if you saw this in a lineup with a bunch of other cards, would you know it was mine? I don’t think I would pick it out as something I made, but I do like it. Be sure to check out the rest of the Timeless Collection over on the Spellbinders site. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
